My favourite teacher was Mr.Shivdutt Shastri, who taught me Sanskrit in a very humourous, interesting way! He always mixed some of his philosophic wisdom about life, in general, along with teaching the language!
The result--- I got a distinction in Sanskrit at the Higher Secondary exam, despite missing out 3 years of learning in classes 5th-7th! In addition, I consider myself a sucess in life, at age 63!
I am grateful to Sri. Shivdutt Shastri.

Whenever somebody asks about my favorite teacher the first name that comes in my mind is the name of Mr Mani, Asstt Professor in Mech Engg... he was the one who advised me to improve my language (English)… as that was the medium of instruction in engineering...

He asserted that “in addition to an in-depth good knowledge of engineering you should also be able to write and speak excellent English... without which you would not be able to excel in your profession... “

He also tried his best to teach me cricket... but I could not learn this game even a bit... I preferred football because it was easier to learn...

Anyways I will never forget Mani sir... he corrected my spelling of the word 'cancelled' that once I wrote wrongly...

Thanks Mani sir... if you read this kindly mail me on harsh_speaks@yahoo.co.in
