No, it will not become a chicken. The egg must be fertilized first. Eggs we eat have not been fertilized. The only thing that will happen if you take the egg out of the fridge and put it in a warm place is that, eventually, it will go bad.

Of course not! Eggs only become chickens if they are fertilized by a rooster. Its the same as a woman having her period-its not a baby unless fertilized. An egg is like a hens period. People think eggs are all baby chicks-simply not true. All that will happen if you put an egg in a warm place is that you will end up with a smelly, rotten egg

The only thing that will happen is that the egg will go bad. What you buy in the store an not fertiliezed eggs. They will never develop into a chicken. If, however, you were to get a fertilized egg and keep it in a warm spot (incubate) it will hatch.

The eggs from the store are not fertilized and will not become chickens. If you leave an egg out it will go bad.

funny story about a chicken..
when i was a teenager my gramma was given a small chick.this little thing was the cutest thing. we had this thing for almost a year . then one day my little brother was sitting on the potty ,which was set on the floor. the chicken walked up to him and he picked it up with his little hands and hugged it. when he was done he dropped it as kids will do and it was already dead. with my other sister in the house who was only 6 years old you never heard a scream so loud in your life. she said over and over how he had done that on purpose. he was less than two years old ... ... ... . . . . .... sad but true.
