If you are still in school, work hard in your academics. That will show them that you are capable of being good at something you do. Always do your chores at home, and help others (if you have siblings) in theirs. If you work, do not neglect your other responsibilities - school, house chores. Maintain a good relationship with your parents; be obedient and heed their advice always.

do more than they expect and before they should be expecting it.
trust me it works A LOT.
for instance, if they tell you to do 1 chapter of assignments, do 2 or three.
if they say do the dishes, clean the house.
stuff like that.
they will definately know you are responsible.
but make sure you act as if it was nothing because they if they get the hint that you did it just for them to see you as responsible, it would be weird.

Do your chores without them telling you. Get good grades in school. Help them with stuff when they didn't ask for it.
