We are all incarnations of God (wow that's heavy) But seriously, I think that was the apple-we feel shame, that we've sinned etc
I would walk around naked, seriously I don't care
Someone else start it first though pleez
Seriously, picture we are in heaven, ok I'll let my movie play
of everything!
For everyone to watch...cuz maybe then, some of you all wouldn't be so embarassed about playing yours...but this is not a future thing-life is no dress rehearsal...let's let it all hang out, soon!
Those waves...at colisuems, those are cool, but someone starts those, ya know?
Be a wavestarter!
bware the statutes of indecent exposure tho, sigh

Actually, I have read a reference where in the original Hebrew somewhere, Adam and Eve were clothed with something like light or light itself. In other words, the standards of modesty apply even from the beginning, but the account you read in the Bible has symbolic meaning. However, I think it is cute when babies or children under age 2 run around in their own skin, sort of like wiggly puppies.

I reason backwards If I may for a minute...? If God made man in His image... Then we look like God, which means God is Human.... with anything and everything that goes with that... otherwise the words "His Own Image" have no meaning. ...
By the way, I have not read the bible, do not directly believe in God. I do respect those who do.

God and angels are pure spirits. They do not have bodies, therefore they cannot be nudists. When God finally did take on human flesh, he was not a nudist. People were created naked because they were innocent. They loved one another purely and chastely. After sin entered their hearts, they looked at one another lustfully. So they had to cover themselves to keep from falling into sin.
We are made in God's image in that we have the ability to love and a rational intellect. As I said, God does not have a body. Therefore, we do not look like him in the sense that you look with your eyes.

I believe that the original text read " in God's own likeness" and refers to our ability to create. We create artwork, compose music, write stories, build structures, establish bureaucratic systems, plant and harvest, create written language, and erect civilizations, and establish laws. This is what separates humanity from the rest of the animals.

The author would not have a physique or actual image. the image of the author is creativity, power, compassion and justice. So, specific the transvestite grew to become into exhibiting a picture of the author, as Mr. T, even Hitler.

All the angles I ever worked with in geometry were naked, but you are free to clothe them, if you wish

Or maybe the phrase "Image of God" really refers to mental qualities.
Such as the ability to distinguish right from wrong.

The two creation stories in Genesis are only metaphors. They are not literal.
