Only for a PCS Acompanied. If for instance, you are already stationed somewhere and you get married, than no, the military will NOT pay to move your new spouse there.

BTW, It's DITY, not deity.

YES. If you are married and get orders to move to a new location, the Military will pay you for mileage if you are driving, plus per diem, money for food and lodging. If you are flying they will pay for airline tickets for all dependant members of your family. The start by paying YOU a travel allowance, not sure of the exact numbers, but your dependants will get a portion of the amount you get. It's something like $75 a day for food and lodging, your spouse would get 75% of that in addition, and then any children would get an additional 50%. Again, not positive on the numbers so don't quote me to your finance office. And you would also get something like 25 cents a mile for your vehicles, up to 2 vehicles. When you outprocess your unit, finance should let you know up front exactly what you should expect and they will pay you a portion of the money up front. When you get to your new duty station you will have to fill out a travel voucher and then they put the money directly into your bank account. This takes about 10 days. If you just got married and you are trying to move your new wife to your present duty station, no the military will not pay for that. Hope this answers your question. If not, edit your question and we can talk in e-mail.

The military is not authorized to ship gods/deities around. (Seperation of Church and State). You can get a DITY or (Do It Yourself) move and make a little profit.

You and your spouse should have moved together. You only get one move with a set of orders. If you already shipped some of your househod goods then you used your move.

There is one exception, when you joined the military you got one move from your home of record that you can basically save for anytime. This is because you did not get to do a move for Basic Training or for AIT.

There are a few circumstances where you can do a partial move and have your spouse join you later but make sure you set that up in advance and not after you use your move.

mike b is right. If you PCS and move household goods (whether by the government or a DITY move), your spouse cannot then have his/her household goods moved by the military.

Also, if you weren't married when the orders to PCS were cut, the government won't pay for the move. My husband and I got married after he was at his first duty station, and I had to move all our stuff myself.

If you are PCSing overseas, the situation is probably different. If you are going first, then waiting on command sponsorship to bring your dependants over, the government should still pay for the move. OCONUS moves are weird though, and I don't know much about them as we've never done one.

Talk to your transportation office, they should have all the answers you need!

No. the protection rigidity will in straight forward terms pay shifting expenses while the member gets computers orders. His 6 month deployment orders are actually not computers and no shifting fee would be paid. i desire to advise you attempt and get entangled with some on base activities. the protection rigidity existence may be no longer ordinary on new different halves however the protection rigidity does attempt to help. talk on your battalion chaplain (they're somewhat especially great men and that i've got in no way met one that does no longer pass out of their thank you to help) and notice if there is any element you may get entangled in. i might propose you no longer pass domicile for a pair of motives. a million. in case you have base housing, you will possibly be able to lose it and be placed on the tip of the record while your husbands deployment is accomplished. 2. while your husband returns he will have not every physique to return to. This somewhat sucks. 3. you will might desire to pass throughout the discomfort of shifting back and installation domicile yet back. 4. you will possibly be able to desire to earnings to the two settle for the protection rigidity existence or no longer. some accountability stations are purely too a techniques from domicile to arise with the money for you an danger to pass domicile at the same time as you husband is long previous. think of roughly while your husband and you get an distant places task. he will nevertheless set up and the fee of a self pass from Asia or Europe is fee prohibitive for many protection rigidity contributors.
