I was curious if people partied on Bourbon St. during the week? Say tuesday and wednesday night. I think because its spring break it might help but does anyone know for sure?

We went in Aug. and yes there is something going on every night of the week! Total party. When we were there MTV was filming something and it was a Tues, there was plenty of people there. You must try the Hand Grenades from the Funky Pirate or Tropical Isle great places always something going on and the best drink around. Beware drink these in moderations takes a while to hit you. Pati'Os always has something going on and there is always people there good place to star the night! Have a good trip try a Lucky Dog (or whatever they are called you will see them all over Bourdon) at the end of the night it will help the hang over the next day.

While the person who said Bourbon Street used to be 24/7 is wrong (it has always been quite dead in the morning--which is a great time to go there if you DON'T want the party scene), things were and are definitely hopping every night of the week. Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays are a bit quieter than later in the week, but there's always something fun going on.

UMM...yeah! Every night is pretty much a party, but because it is Spring Break it will be filled with people! Spring Break is another time to party down here, so everyone usually heads to Bourbon! You will have a blast!

A hand grenade is Gatorade and Everclear. It tastes like candy so you'd never know it contains an alcohol that is illegal in most states! And it shoots that stuff right into your veins with the gatorade. Crazy stuff, don't have more than a couple in an hour fo shizzle! You get them from Tropical Isle, has 2 spots on Bourbon you'll see em.

I just returned from a short holiday in New Orleans, and I can say that Bourbon Street is definitely "in business". Go. Have a great time.

Of course people party during the week! It's Bourbon Street, you are always guaranteed people. However, MORE people will be out and about Fridays and Saturdays.

there's always something going on on Bourbon. you can go there any night ad find people. not te same amount as mardi gras or during festival time (jazz and essance) but still a good amount. sprin break this year i think sould bring alot of people now that people saw how good mardi gras went (for the most part)
