you are really going for a free deal, you might as well give up,the transaction of salvation could only be completed if you obey terms & conditions such as, worshipping, praising, and never ask question ('cuz they don't have the answer) and you can't lagh at Jesus even if he was so hilaries.

Marvel not, ye must be born again. Simply put, Jesus died for
the sinner, because All have sinned, Not one human Being on this Earth is without sin. Jesus made all things new when He arose in Glory and defeated death and the grave.
You have forgiveness in Jesus Christ, but you must ask to be forgiven, you must believe first of all that Jesus is the Son of God, and Died for your Sins and that He arose on the third day and ascended into heaven and proclaimed you before the father and now you are a joint heir in the kingdom of Heaven. You must also repent of your sins, this does not mean you are made perfect as some would believe, Jesus told his desciples that not one of them was perfect and wthout sin-No Not One. It is in knowing that you are forgiven and you can and are forgiven when you come to God and ask to be forgiven and you are truly repentant of it(You mean it). If you could think of the absolute best relationship that a father and a child can have-Every thing at its best; this is the relationship that God Wants to have with you.

It is free. Yes, you will need to repent of your sins and accept that Jesus Christ died for your sins. If you do this with a true heart, then you will be filled with the Holy Spirit and your life will reflect the changes in your life. That is what it takes to be saved. You are then considered a babe in Christ. Staying in the Word, praying and fellowshipping with other believers will help you grow in your faith so that you too can give an answer to the hope that lies within you.
As a christian you will still sin, but you should avoid temptation. That means, I don't go out to a bar, by myself, get drunk and then pick up some guy. Or go out of my way to lie to and trick people would be to purposely sin. God asks of us to stay away from sin. Knowing we are not always able to, He forgives the sin when we repent of it.

1. Can't do whatever you want for the rest of your life. You need to turn from a life of sin and live a life unto God.

2. No free pass on your sins. You need to be repentant. True repentance does not lead to commiting the same sin over & over.

3.You don't have to believe in Him to have Him died for your sins - free deal, He did it for everyone. You do need to believe in Him to accept the offering He made.

4. You don't need to go any where to sign up. Read the Bible. Pray. Seek the truth & Him with all your heart and He will lead you to His true church & into all righteousness. He did me and I'm surely no one more special than anyone else.

5. It costs you everything. But it's worth it. He'll probably let you keep your house and car, but if He asks you to give them up for Him you need to be willing. That's what it's all about, a willingness to follow Him.

I think your taking this a little too literally. The sin I think Jesus was actually on about was the original sin when Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge against God's will.Their eyes were opened (sexually) and all of mankind from then on were cursed because of this until Jesus came to take this sin away.

Jesus came and died in your place so that you may live.Yes we all have a free will, but remember everything has a consequence good or bad. All will face judgement day! So we are to do our best and do not sin knowingly. James 4:17Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins. No human is perfect, but God is. Therefore, no person can enter God’s presence on his or her own merit. No person is good enough to go to heaven.Sin separates us from God. It keeps us out of heaven, and prevents us from having a relationship with Him, robbing us of joy and contentment.
Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.Jesus Christ is the solution to the problem. Jesus did not abolish truth in bringing forgiveness to man. On the contrary, He fulfilled the Law. Jesus Christ is like a bridge extending across the canyon. The absolute truth of gravity still exists, but if we entrust our lives to Christ (walk across Him, the bridge), each of us can have access to God, be accepted by Him, and receive spiritual life. All of us are guilty before God. The charge is sin. The penalty is death—separation from God forever. We can plead either guilty or innocent. If we plead innocent, we are judged on our thoughts, words, and actions. If we plead guilty, and ask for mercy through Christ, Christ’s death on the cross is accepted by God the Father as payment of our death penalty. We go free because Christ bore the penalty for us; He paid our debt.Could any person have died on a cross as a sacrifice for the sin of the human race? No. Only God Himself is a sufficient sacrifice. Although Jesus lived as a man on the earth, He was still God, and thus a sufficient sacrifice for our sin. Jesus Christ, the bridge, is the only way across the canyon:
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

It doesn't mean you get to do whatever you want. It means you actually in your heart believe that Christ Jesus is the Son of God and he shed his blood for your sins. You have to actually believe that and believe in the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Yes all your sins are forgiven, but only when you've accepted Christ as your savior and pray for forgiveness. You're not required to pay anything or "sign-up". You just have to actually believe and pray to God that he enter your life and fill you with the Spirit.

There is only one unforgivable sin and that is to deny the Holy Spirit. You see, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are all one. Just 3 different forms of the same God (Yahweh). To deny the Holy Spirit is to deny God and deny God's existence.

i can tell you're being facetious, but here's my serious answer. it depends on which christian religion you follow.

My religion says that even though Jesus died for my sins, I still have to be a good person, or else it doesn't help.

But there are other Christian religions that believe it doesn't matter, once you're chosen you're going to go to heaven no matter what you do.

But most Christians believe that you do have to believe in Jesus to "get this deal" although there are some who've recently softened on this idea.

Rom 6:1-10 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

Jesus paid the price for our sins. 1Co 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Luk 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

The person who makes a genuine commitment of his life to Christ becomes a child of God and a member of God's family (John 1:12). Just as an orphaned child is adopted into a family, so are we adopted by God and made a part of His family forever. And some day we will go to be with Him in heaven. "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" (1 John 3:1).

However, just because we have committed our lives to Christ does not mean we will no longer struggle with temptation, and sometimes sin. Even the great apostle Paul could say, "I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me" (Romans 7:21). When we do sin, God does not reject us or disown us. Our fellowship with Him may be broken, but our relationship is not; we are still members of His family if we have truly committed our lives to Christ. When we sin we should immediately turn to God, confess our sin honestly, ask His forgiveness—and then turn from our sin. The Bible promises, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

If we truly know Christ and are seeking to follow Him, we will not be complacent and unconcerned about sin in our lives. In fact, one of the signs of true spiritual life is the hatred of sin and the determination to conquer it. We will not continue to repeat the same sins over and over again, but will seek God's help (by the Holy Spirit who dwells within us) to overcome them. The Bible promises, "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). Indifference to sin in one's life is a sure sign of serious spiritual sickness, and may indicate that one has never truly invited Jesus into one's life as Savior and Lord (1 John 2:3-4).
We must not make a mockery of God's forgiveness and grace though.
One reason we should avoid sin is because God wants us to love Him—and we cannot love God and at the same time love sin. The Bible's message is clear: "If anyone loves the (sinful) world, the love of the Father is not in him" (1 John 2:15). Sin is an offense to God, and when we sin we are turning our backs on God and rejecting Him.

A second reason why the Bible commands us to avoid sin is because of what it cost God to make our forgiveness possible. Yes, for us forgiveness is a free gift; when we turn to Christ in repentance and faith, God promises to forgive us by His grace. But for God, forgiveness is costly because it cost Him the life of His own dear Son. On the cross, Jesus became the final and complete sacrifice for our sins, shedding His blood for us.

Don't scorn what Christ did for you. Instead, turn from sin and by faith ask Christ to come into your life today. Then make it your goal to live for Christ, who "teaches us to say 'No' to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age" (Titus 2:12).
