You are not fat at all. And as soon as you start track, your muscles will be more toned and you will look even slimmer. I know it is hard to hear now (I remember being 13) but you need to eat healthy now and not worry too much about your weight. Your bones need to get enough calcium. You need to stay healthy so that you remain slim when you get older.
Get plenty of exercise and that will be the best thing you can do for your health and your weight.
Remember that muscle weighs more than fat, so don't pay attention to the scale. Pay attention to how your clothes fit.

Well I'm 5'5 and 118.
I actually prefer the look of a girl to be a little thicker.
I don't think you're fat, though.
Being healthy is the #1 important thing.
Thin girls aren't always healthy you know!
Congratulations on eating healthier and running.
I don't watch what I eat but I do work out for an hour 4 times a week.
I'm not THIN, but slender, and slightly toned.
As soon as you start running you will begin to lose a little weight. Don't fret if you gain at first though. And really don't fret if you lose, then gain (it means you're losing fat, then gaining muscle)
good luck!
And like I said, I don't think you're fat. You sound great!

Are you joking? No, at 130 and 5'6", a girl is NOT fat. I think exercising and eating right is important, but it's also just as important not to overdo it. For their reproductive systems to work, women NEED at least some fat (your BMI is at 21, already on the low end, so you really should have nothing to worry about!). Also, people's bone structures vary. Some have a larger frame than others, even if they are of the same height. But in any case, you would not be considered fat by any means.

Hi!
I am also 13, I am 5' 8" and also 130 pounds...
I feel fat around my stomach, but I bike a lot and have strong legs. I do lots of sit ups to lose my stomach fat though and I have lost 3 jean sizes in 2 months.
By what it sounds like I don't think you are fat.

I'm fat.. at 300 lbs and 6 feet tall I'd say I'm a pretty large girl but I'm healthy as far as my Dr can see and test. I don't rely on the scale; rely on how much endurance and physical exercise you can with stand. Remember to eat right. you sound to be a very average size for a woman and besides you are to young to freight over weight save that for after you are 30 and have 2-3 kids.

You are skinny for your height. I'm 5'3 and I weigh 119 pounds so that seems like it works out. Still, running track won't do anything but help you stay even heatlhier. BUT YOU DON'T NEED TO LOSE ANY WEIGHT!!=]

No I don't think you are fat. Remember, when you are working out, you are building muscle - which is more dense than fat. So your weight may actually go up, but you will be stronger and healthier.
