Yes, every day we are being robbed by Illegal Immigrants and those who hire, harbor and help them. Everyday American Citizens are being robbed through collection of exhorbitant taxes and fees. Every day, American citizens are being robbed by people sending billions of dollars out to the country to be laundered and returned to steal more from American Citizens. Every day, we witness American Citizens being denied student loans while Illegal Immigrants are given a scholarship and a free ride on our tax funded education train. Every day american citizens are robbed of social security and welfare benefits by illegal immigrants. Every year Arizona Residents are robbed to the tune of $750 per legal citizen to pay for the benefits to illegal aliens for education, health care, housing and food subsidies, etc. What does cost us across the country? Every day, banks and savings and loans are robbing American Citizens blind by giving loans to illegal immigrants and making bad loans which, after default, are paid for by American Citizens through tax funded FDIC and FSLIC (this has a new name) and our Federal Reserve System. Every day, American Citizens are robbed by our Federal, State and Local Governments when they pay companies like Halliburton caviar dollars for toilet quality goods and services. Every day, American Citizens are robbed by FEMA when they give funds to the undeserving or people who don't need them. Every day, American Citizens are being robbed of our privacy by our Federal Government, the FBI and others who believe it is okay to do whatever they want despite the law. Every day, American Citizens are being robbed of our quality of life in favor of money grubbing businesses and corporations. Every day American Citizens are being robbed of our constitutional rights when Illegal Immigrants are given a pass by our law-enforcement. Every day, every minute, every hour, American Citizens are being robbed. Our soldiers are being robbed of their lives by an unscrupulous President who considers everyone but himself expendable and who considers everyone but himself to be wrong! Every day, millions of American Citizens are being robbed of their Identities by illegal immigrants. Every day, American Citizens are being robbed of their privacy by the Government's failure to secure our data in their computers. Every day, our Government at all levels, aides and abetts these robberies without our permission. While the physical gun may not be pointed at our heads by an individual, the effect is even more devastating because we can't easily confront our accuser and we can't easily defend ourselves!

yes it was quite bad, it happened in south america, I was walking down the street at night, it was dark and silent, when a guy on a bike pulled over from behind me, I could only hear the chain stop. He put his arm around my neck and asked for everything I had, I gave him some cash I had on me, not much. He wanted more. He kept threatening me with a gun, poking me with it, and kept telling me not to look in his face. He pointed at my shoes so I took them off, then he wanted all my clothes. It was humiliating, I was so afraid that he would actually shoot me as there was not a single soul on that dark street that night. The guy was flipped on cocaine or crack. His gun looked like a toy but I was still afraid, so I did everything he said. Finally he took all my clothes and shoes, and took them away, and said: RUN!
I was so humiliated in my underpants in the middle of the street, no police to be seen, I ran to my hotel room. The guy at the entrance was shocked and wanted to ask questions but I was too humiliated to stay there and talk. Then I spent an entire week at my room, I couldn't even think of going outside. I never went to the police, I had not looked at the guy's face and besides that happens so often so there was nothing I could do. An awful experience, so there you go. Hope no one has to go thru it.

I was robbed at gunpoint once.
It was Valentine's day in 1977. I'd worked late for a co-worker and just before closing time, this woman came in with 8-10 kids and sort of unleashed them on the store while she cased the store. The Pharmacist was a very sweet, deaf old guy and he was unaware that anything was going on. He was in the back of the store stocking shelves.
The woman came up to me and stuck a pistol in my ribs and asked for the cash drawers content. I gave it to her and she left. She had a prominent scar on her throat from having had surgery, which was the only major ID mark. I went to the police station and looked at mug shots, but saw nobody like her. I never freaked out until I was at the Police Station; then I cried.
Two weeks later, she robbed a store in the SAME strip center and was arrested. She wasn't too bright, I'd say.
I am always grateful on Valentine's day to be alive.
Good luck.

I once made a citizen's arrest on a beach in Panama City, Fl..
I saw a guy pickup a woman's beachbag and walk off with it.
She had all of her cash, credit cards and a camera in the bag. I ran the guy down and threw him against the wall of the hotel. He was going to put up a little fight until he saw the crowd of people, that saw me chasing him down, come running up behind me. He wimpered like a child until the cops got there and hauled his butt off.

I gave my girlfriend a ride to the bank once to cash her check and while I was waiting out in the parking lot, a car pulled up and pointed a gun out the passenger widow at an old lady heading in to cash her Social Security check. He said give me your money and she told him she hadn't cashed her check yet, so he just drove away.
I was in shock for several minutes.

They got my supervisor instead of me. And told her that they were coming after me next.
I must have been with a customer or straightening up aisles.
Never saw him.
