Peace enough to enjoy this existence - you know what I mean? A slow enough life that I can hear the birds sing all afternoon, a bank account full enough that I don't have to worry about it or pay someone to manage it (well I wouldn't mind paying someone to manage it, actually) and a constantly full fridge. Good friends and good restaurants. Healthy, happy children.

Peace!

Goals change with your stage of life...

20's and 30s... education then being a good spouse and parent...

40s.... adventure and living fully...

50s... continuing to live fully, but contributing to others, helping other people live well...

The only consistent thread has been integrity and authenticity.

To visit every continent. To see 700 species of birds in North America. To see 5000 species of birds world wide. (These are the shallow ones)

To have the world be a better place because I was here, even if its just for a few people.

To give health and happiness to others when ever I can.
To make my world a happy and bright place for myself and my family and friends.
And, hopefully, to live long enough to see Pagans accepted for the loving, peaceful peoples that they are and for thier (our) persecution to end. That is a Wish and a goal.

To finish my course just like Saint Paul.

2Timothy 4:6 For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure is come.
2Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith:
2Timothy 4:8 henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give to me at that day; and not to me only, but also to all them that have loved his appearing.

the goal and purpose of this life. Allah said to us in the Holy Quran: "And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me." [Surah 51: Ayah 56] this is what the Almighty said.

Our purpose in this life is to recognize The Creator, to be grateful to Him, to worship Him, to surrender ourselves to Him and to obey the laws that He has determined for us. It means worship is our purpose in life. Whatever we do in the course of that worship, [i.e., the eating, the sleeping, the dressing, the working, the enjoying,] between birth and death is consequential and subject to His orders. But the main reason for our creation is worship. I don't think anyone who is analytical or scientific will have much of an argument with that purpose. They may have some other reason with themselves-but that is something they have to deal with between themselves and Almighty God.
