There was a mans up working on his roof. Suddenly some shingles break free in under him and he starts to slide toward the edge. His mind darts to the twenty two foot fall he about to suffer. He even wonders if he can servive the fall at all. He looks about there is nothing to grab hold of. He tries to use the claw of his hammer but it fails to caught hold. In desperation he calls out "God save me"... Just then the belt loop on the back of his pants caught on a nail that appeared from under one of the shifting shingles. His slide ends, he calls again out to God... "nevermind". Too many people demand angels to come to their rescue or God's hand come down from heaven and point the way out of trouble to be a miracle. In actuality Miracles are everywhere.... Jim

Now, The first thing that you will have to comprehend is that all human life is intertwined and life go on uninterrupted, according to God's plan. What one person may do,on the other side of the world, may affect your life indirectly, even though you may not realize it. All of life happens in a sequence, the Bible says that no one can add to it or take away from it. Miracles happen only when God intervenes in this sequence of life. You may have heard someone make a comment like "It was a miracle that anyone survived that wreck". Well, to let you know, it wasn't a miracle. It just wasn't time for whoever was in such a wreck to die yet. Know what I mean, people get shot, stabbed, knocked in the head, all kinds of injuries, yet they survive and then some freak accident happens to someone and they die an unexpected death. Well, it was time for them to die. When your time comes, you're going to go, one way or another. Getting a little off track here but, understand that only God can make miracles happen and miracles don't happen as often as one may think.

Yes, miracles happen all the time. Besides the bread and wine turning into the Body and Blood of Christ, there are tangible miracles that can be measured. Another answerer stated that miracles do not happen anymore. This cannot be true, because Jesus founded a church to carry on his ministry. Part of his ministry was to perform miracles. Christ, the Head of the Church, performs miracles through his Body, the Church.
Here is a list of a few scientifically studied and confirmed miracles. http://www.lourdes-france.org/upload/pdf/gb_guerisons.pdf

Oh you betcha'. It is often the small miracles that have the most impact. When I was younger with my babies and they needed milk I had enough money minus 30 cents. I prayed and said, "God the 30 cents is up to you", and I went to the store on faith. There with people walking by as though they did not see it were 3 dimes laying on the floor. I said, "Thank you God," and I went and bought my milk. I have had sooo many wonderful things like that happen and I know in whom I believe. One time I needed a car to go to work. I prayed about it and when I got to work the next day I found out a friend had just decided the night before to sell his car. I got it with any kind of payments I could make and had immediate use of it. That is not a coincidence is it. He said he was sitting in his easy chair at home and just decided out of the blue teee...Thank you for your question as it gives me a chance to share...if I wrote down all my miracles it would take pages and pages. Have a good day. Mmm

Of course they're Miracles, if God doesn't stop being the same God that he was on Earth 2000 years on earth or the one in Heaven, then why do we deny his very ability of his powers. The only think that changed is that of the ppls faith is no longer as strong as it was back then. If i have seen ppl be healed of uncurable sickness, my prayers literally be answered, etc. The fact that i also woke up today was a miracle, cause i am no one worthy to live this life, of everything i have commited and done or not done.
Coincidence i think not, there would to many in my life to say they were all concidence....i stay with my conviction.

You will most never witness a miracle if you do not go to a church prayer session where they are happening. And there are many many miracles taking place around the world as missionaries witness Christ to people in other countries than the USA. But no news group tells these stories, fox-CNN not a word. The Christian stations do of course. If you want to view an ocean you go to the ocean. You do not expect the ocean to show itself in your back Yard.

YES, miracles definitely STILL happen. A lot of the times God will do them for just a specific person and God prefers that they remain between HIM and YOU as a Secret.
I've had many miracles happen to me in the last 10 years, such as a rainbow over my head on a sunny rainless day. As soon as you tell someone these things, in this day and time, they will try their best to send you to a "funny farm". Mark my words.

Every minute of every day.
As to Einstein, although born into a Jewish family, he went to Catholic elementary school. Regarding his beliefs, I posted an excerpt of his writeup found on Wikipedia:
The question of scientific determinism gave rise to questions about Einstein's position on theological determinism, and even whether or not he believed in God. Einstein was interested in the Ethical Culture movement and a sponsor of the First Humanist Society of New York. Judaism being a cultural and racial heritage as well as a faith, Einstein saw no conflict in exploring theology: "A Jew who sheds his faith along the way, or who even picks up a different one, is still a Jew," he wrote. In 1929, Rabbi Herbert S. Goldstein sent him a telegram that read: "Do you believe in God? Answer paid 50 words." Einstein's answer was: "I believe in Spinoza's God, who reveals Himself in the lawful harmony of the world, not in a God who concerns Himself with the fate and the doings of mankind." The question was seemingly immortal, however, and in 1940, Einstein wrote an article for Nature entitled "Science and Religion" which included the poignant "... science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind ..."

That special parking spot you get, don't you think it would be better if an old person got it? What about that extra money? Wouldn't it be better spent on a charity? If you believe something happens for a reason, then why are you not find the reason why and just taking it in selfishly as if it happened just to satify you? Maybe your God was giving you a chance to give to someone else?

Einstein wasn't a christian and did not believe in a 'personal god', and you are taking his words out of context.
His natural miracles had nothing to do with parting of seas, resurrecting the dead or other unlikely stuff which (surprise, surprise) DOES NOT SEEM TO HAPPEN ANYMORE, even though (or is it because?) there are freaking cameras everywhere.
