maybe give me some substitutes for yeast or just give me a bread recipe that DOESN'T require yeast!!!!!! Thanks :)

You don't. Bread without yeast equals cake! Wrong channel "hummingbird"!

Is this for health reasons or because you have no yeast? If it's only because you don't have yeast, try beer bread *third link*. Otherwise try these.

Yeast-Free Pizza Dough

* 1 1/2 cup each all-purpose flour and whole wheat flour
* 1/4 cup cornmeal
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1 teaspoons salt
* 1 1/2 cup water

Mix the dry ingredients together first. Then, add water and mix together with hands. When it is a good consistency, the dough should easily come off of the sides of the bowl to form a ball. Press the dough evenly onto a nonstick cookie sheet or pizza pan. Bake the crust for 10-15 minutes in at 400 degrees. Next add any toppings the toppings you would like and bake for an additional 15 minutes.




Simple Yeast Free Bread

* 1 cup cornmeal
* 1 egg
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* Salt
* 1 tablespoon shortening

First, preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Place cornmeal, salt, and shortening in a bowl and add the boiling water. Mix together to make a paste. Add egg and baking powder and continue mixing. Place entire mixture in a in a greased pan and bake for 20 minutes. Allow the bread to cool and serve.



Easy Bread Without Yeast

* 2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
* 3 tablespoons white sugar
* 1 12 ounce can of carbonated lemon-lime soda

To begin, preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Next, Combine the flour, sugar and soda. Put the mixture in the greased pan. Bake the mixture for 45 minutes.

*If the soda you use contains sugar, lessen the amount of sugar used in the recipe.


Yeast-Free Bread

INGREDIENTS

* 2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
* 3 tablespoons white sugar
* 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. Combine the flour, sugar and carbonated beverage. Mix well and place into the prepared pan.
3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes. Note: If using a sweetened carbonated beverage cut back on the sugar a little.

Almost any flatbread is without yeast. Yeast causes bread to rise like your standard loaf of bread. The bread in the old days was flat because common people either did not know of or could not afford the yeast.

Honey, if your trying to make the bread the "Jews" make for their "Tradition's" I haven't a clue , how to make unlevend' bread.... The Jew's make it, for their ceremonies, and altho Jesus was a "Jew" they also dont believe in Jesus, so I dont know anything about "Unlevened-Bread" see because I'm a "Beleiver".. Sorry, sweetheart!! I love the Lord Jesus, with All My Heart!!! Ask all the "Jews" they may be able to help you on that one!!! smile!!!
