Yew trees- a few hundred years and they're the most beautiful things in the world.
Cherry trees in the spring.... and later towards summer.
Oaks... remind me of home.
Sassafrass- just plain fun.
Tulip Trees
Redbuds
Osage Orange (Maclura pomifera)
Zizyphus jujuba...
Gingko- I saw a 1400 yr old one once...
Juniperus virginiana- yummy cones, useful torches, nice wood
Japanese Maples... ginkakuji... *sigh*

My favorite are Cherry Blossom Trees, like the ones in Washington, D.C. I love going there and seeing them all in bloom with their lovely pinkish red flowers, they smell nice too.

I like red maple because of the beautiful leaves in the fall. Norfolk Pines because of the needles. Blue spruce because of the scent and the shape for Christmas. Palm trees because they make me think of warm places.

Almost all trees are my favorites. (I do dislike the eucalyptus tree and I have noticed allergy symptoms from sycamore trees so those are two I don't care for).
