Yesterday, around 12:30, my little brother got bit by a poisonous spider, and he is only 9 years old. He was rushed to the hospital immediately after he got bit. The doctors gave him Benadryl through a needle. Before and after we got to the hospital, he put his arm underneath an ice bag to relieve the pain. When he got home, he was screaming in agony due to painful burning and cramps. It is uncertain on which kind of spider bit him. My dad wanted him to help him with yard work, so my brother put on gloves. The spider bit him on the hand in the glove. My dad looked through the gloves and found egg sacks and the parent spiders. My mom gave him Clariton, Tongue dissolver's and Asprin. No, she did not give him all of the medicine at once. How long will the burning and cramping take effect?
