Discounting all the old laws that are no longer inforced, I would have to say that the dumbest is the brand new Vermont law that forbids flute playing while driving a car. It also bans eating, drinking, smoking, and interacting with cargo.

Laws against sex between consenting adults.
The government has no legitimate interest in regulating whom I boink, as long as the person is of age and freely consents. Laws against adultery, homosexual acts and prostitution should be repealed.
