Alright, first off, I am a freshman in highschool. There is a girl in one of my classes and my lunch. She will always say my name when she sees me, and we will talk. She will laugh at my jokes. When we talk we keep good eye contact. When she sees me in the hall she will stop and wait for me to catch up to her and we will talk. We did some thing in class where some people had to pick people for groups, she picked me first.
Anyway do you think this girl likes me? What are some signs I can look for?What are some hints I can drop for her that I like her?

Be careful. She may like you, or she may like you like a friend. Does she have alot of friends? Alot of freshmen are nervous, and have a hard time ajusting to highschool, I know I did. So they cling to whoever is nice to them.
I knew this guy, and he was nice, so I hung out with him. I later find out he likes me, and thought I liked him too. Now he was an absolute, NERD. Glasses, zits, and weird attitude. About a week later there was a NASTY rumour that we were dating. It really hurt me.
I just have to say, talk to her about it, not your friends. It will save her alot of hurt if she doesn't like you.

well, this girl definately likes you. The question is whether she likes u as a friend or more than that. I think she's kinda in between......like, maybe there are moments when she likes u but then she also just wants 2 be ur friend. If you want to let her know you like her, tell her. Or, just keep on doing what ur doing and she'll pick up on the hint. Good luck!

Sounds like she likes you to me! She's openly showing you affection. She might just be one of those very friendly friend types (God, they're annoying,) but odds are she has something going for you.
Try waiting around for her, offering to take her home if you can, and if she's a huggy type you can try giving her a one-armed manly hug after a while. Be really off-hand about it though, more like, "Hey, I can hug you so I will," not "OHMYGOD I'M GONNA HUG HER! I'M GONNA DO IT! STAY COOL! STAY COOL!!!"
Basically just spend time with her and try to cultivate the strongest friendship you can. After a while it will have to come up, and if it turns out it's a one-sided crush or something, you can at least have that strong friendship to fall back on even if it will be a little weird at first.

Some girls do this at work and at studies. To find if she is genuine or just the one who wants a helping hand to cross the road, just tell her when alone, that u like her very much and want to take the relationship to the next level. You watch her face carefully when u say this and u can find out.

coming from a girl, who's been in that situation before, I think she likes you. If she'll wait for you in the hall to talk, yeah, I think she does. Ask her if she'd like to meet you up for the movies one night, or something. You'll never know how someone feels, until you put yourself out there and ask.

Yes, she likes you. She has already given you the signs. Now it's your turn. Pay more attention to her, get to know her better, hang out with her more, find more excuses to see her outside school. Invite her on outings with groups if you are too nervous to go it alone.

it sounds like she likes you at least as a friend. ask her to hang out outside of school and go by her response. She may only be looking for a friend, or she may want more than that. good luck.

She might like you. Ask her out and you will know. But it's HS... you have plenty of time for worrying about girls. Focus on school first, it will be better in the long run, I promise.
