My dress is black and white and I know I want to get red jewelry for it and my hair is longer...

I would do some big voluptuous curls by using a larger curling iron or hot rollers. Then just leave your hair down. You don't want to look like you are out of that era unless it's a costume party, but a classic hair style like what I just mentioned will work with the fun style of the dress and not make you look silly.

Hi

I would either have your hair down and add a lil red clip to match the jewellery this will look cute OR put your hair in a high pony tail straighten it and then use the straightener to flick the end into a lil curl.

Both will match the dress style and look cute.

The dress sounds lovely BTW and go for red shoes too!

Ah I'm jealous!
I want a '50s vintage style article of clothing!
Red jewelry sounds like it'll go great!
As far as the hair, I'd try some sort of updo.

I personally wouldn't do my hair in a 50's style as well, you will look like you are in a costume.

Perhaps something like a Marilyn Monroe style.

I would say go for a sort of wavy hairstyle, not too tightly curled. Possibly half-up and half-down. Maybe a high ponytail w/curls. You choose!

depends on the style. if it's strapless, wear your hair down in like soft waves. if it's a halter, you could try a messy or smooth ponytail. if it's sweetheart, try a chignon. you could look in magazines for something you like. hope i helped. :-)
