When she is excited do not give her attention. Crate when you are gone, for naps and at night only. If you catch the dog about to potty, take her outside. That's a lot of potty breaks by the way. Try excersizing your dog, even if she's a chihuahua, a good long walk first thing in the morning, then eat then nap/relax then potty break. When you come home don't get all lovey and talk baby talk to her, she will pee. Just walk in, walk past, ignore till calm, then take her outside.

I have no idea if this will work or not, okay here goes, my parents raise Maltese, and they do the same sort of thing, "Pee", this being said, there are baby gate like sort of enclosures that they use, on their back patio, it is sheltered with a screen, and they will take and put the dogs one by one, into this enclosure, and use a "Pee Mat", which keeps the scent in one place. I think that the problem you may be having is that they have already gone everywhere, and even though you think its clean, it really isnt, if viewed under black light conditions.......suggestion.......Urine Gone/ comes with black light even.......can be googled, and you will see what I am saying. Okay, this now ends my required 2 answers about "Anything Chinchilla" for my lifetime!! Good luck with the little pee'ers. :)~

What your seeing in your pup is called excitement urination. It happens when the pup get so excited that it pee's. It's something they can't control. The best way to try and curb this is to ignore the dog until it has settled down, and I mean really settles down. then do not pet the dog on the head, pet the dog under the chin or even on the back.
Most dogs out grown this.

See my dog used to do that. See the reason why she\he pees is because she excited to see someone or something. The reason why they are so hyper is because of something u give them. Or maybe that's just ur dogs personality?

Heck, my girl friend is 3o somethin and she still has accidents - "don't make me laugh?" - My parents female dogs always do that when family shows up. Not just chihuahua's either, mutts, poodles, beagles.
Hardwood floors instead of carpets...

Your pup is completely normal. Like said, she can't control her bladder. Give her time. She will catch on. BTW keep up the crate training, its the best method.

This is something that is perfectly normal, especially with excitable puppies/dogs. We have a toy poodle who use to do this also. It may take some time, but they do outgrow this.
Best advice is just to have patience.

there is nothing wrong with your dog. puppies can't control their bladder like humans can just wait another month or so then you should see a vet. (my dog did this when he was a puppy too)
