I heard as a saying more than an actual person that sells arms.

I think he means that this isnt just a little arguement, its an arms race, one wanting to visciously attack the other. High scale argument, drudging up what ever emotional baggage n crap to arms themselves with n fling at each other in a non-literal sense.

Patrick says "I am an arms dealer, fitting you with weapons in the word of words." So the 'arms' refer to 'words' or songs. So they are ,in effect, just saying that they make music.

have you heard the term bear arms, not the bear with claws, but like the verb, arms can mean like weaponaries, or guns... and an arms dealer is one who handles/ deals with these things. like a drug dealer. just with guns..

arms as in weapons.
he says i am an arms dealer fitting you with weapons in the form of words.
he is supplying people with verbal defense.

he's "selling illegal weapons", but in this case it's "in the form of words" so i guess it would be he's saying things that nobody else says because it's not legal or just not dared to be said.

....that's just what i got from it
