there are many people like this could complete their studies and by learning skills they survived but when they cross 60 they are thrown out by the companies like a fly out of milk due to invasion of young generation!!!these people inspite of drive to do various things the law does not allow them to survive by way rules and regulations,dada giri and hafthas..they begin vanish like a sunset!!Who can rehabilate them give them the dignity of their past expierience with a kind of recognition!!!!!!

What is the age of retirement? People lose their efficiency at the age of 60. They are not thrown out due to invasion of the young generation. Btw, who produced this young generation? You cannot balme a whole generation for no reason.
Law has provided some benefits for people over the age of 60. These senior citizens get discounts on railway reservations, they don't need to stand in queues, they are offered taxation benefits, etc. Even in local trains and buses you will find seats reserved for them.
Hafta's are pretty rare these days. Also, to let you know hafta's are gathered from the people earning in the locality. They don't ask for any hafta from an unemployed oldie (even goonda's have moral values).
There are a lot of institutions offering rehabilitation for such people. All you need to do is search for the one around your city.

I do not know whether the questioner himself 60 + or some one on his behalf making this question.
IF THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY I thing since he is good in food preparation there is great demand if he can prepare recipe at home and sell it to bachelors who do not like to go to hotel for food nearby his area of residence.

i know but it is also important for new generation to get chance to right. witht eh kind of population we have who is getting satisfied with employment and salary. people are unemployed and young generation who study hard and dont find job to take care of parents are also struggling.
in ur situation. i wud suggest the elderly man can get hold of few elderly people like him who have knowledge of the job and with help of young people like u they can all pitch in together and start a small food business, may be catering to small functions or catering breakfast and lunch to office people. and have a small lil bakery for school going kids. prepare bajji boondas in the evening. lot more.
if well planned and supported they can have thier life smoothly going like any other teenager.
a small resturant with a lil radio or tv. four or five elderly people working hand in hand. so nice to think. but there should be people to execute it instead of taking things negative and cursing teh govt. which always is never gud. y not work out positively.

thts a true problem now we r facin...most people after 60s r thrown into old age homes...there r more old age homes in our county than the nurseries or playschools...all tese people hav children who r livin in abroad or in good positions...the others who hav served their lives in creatin a good life for their children r thrown into roads by their children...or thrown out of companies by their co workers for the entry of younger generation...the attitude of our youngr generation hav 2 b changed for that...let us remind tht no one wil reamin younger for all the times...and tht times change...
