It's an easy habit to get into - and it will help keep you and your heart healthy.

I've been told I should try for seven a day and am really struggling. Five is easy peasy but finding time for two more during the day is difficult. Don't forget fruit or veg juice counts, as does tinned, dried or frozen fruit or veg...

No, unless mango margaritas and apple martinis count! I have about 5-7 of those a few days a week! Other than that..I only have maybe 1-2 servings of fruits and veggies per day! =)

most of the time - but some days it will be less and other days much more.
If you find it difficult I would recommend a glass of fruit juice in the morning
Have a piece of fruit at every meal time. Add salad to your sandwich at lunch time and make sure you have at least two portions of veg with your evening meal. snack on dried fruits or peppers, cherry tomatoes etc

Too much $$ in the winter.
Summer time we have a big vegetable garden & grow a good variety of fruit.
So it sorta evens out in an odd way.
We do eat alot of what I preserve from the harvest in the winter time so I suppose we eat more than what I think we do.

5 a day is the absolute minimum. You should aim for 7 to 10. You will have a lower blood pressure and live longer!
Although it doesn't technically count, I make loads of fruit and vegetable juices, so have lots of portions a day. I am 159 and look not a day over 6.
