how to approach her?

i liked this girl, she is a freshman and im a sophmore. I dont know her much and she never talks to any guys. Is it a good way to start a conversion by asking her about the art homework cause she is in my art class? It seemed that she always tried to make eye contact with me and i see her brush her hair and looking at me sometimes. She is very shy and we have completely different friends. Please help me out everyone?thanks

we are not like nerds, she play soccer on jv and i play cornerback on jv football and i also run track.

Maybe after the class you could go to her and say 'boy that was a long class, should I interest you in a cup of coffee, say now?'

Yea you should definantly ask her about the art homework. Because that starts a conversation. and then maybe you could like get her # or something. this is kind of like me. i like a 14 yr old. i make eye contact w/him. we have completely different friends. i wouldnt know how to approach him, i guess because im shy. but YOU should go for it! i hope i helped!

asking about the art hw, is perfect. Try and be funny/witty/whatever you naturally are. See if you can do this at a time, where you can keep talking, so this is only a conversation starter, instead of the whole conversation.
