I can't guarantee that you'll be successful in finding free tuition, but here is a comprehensive listing of classes from the New Zealand Sign Language Teachers' Association....

Try Google at their New Zealand address which is: http://www.google.co.nz/
Then look for "online sign language", "NZSL", "New Zealand Sign Language"

Did you know that NZSL is 62% similiar to British Sign Language?

So you may want to try some free BSL online browsers as well at: http://www.babies-and-sign-language.com/browsers-free-sign-language-asl-bsl-auslan.html
