Establishment nudists are quick to say that Nudism has nothing to do with sex. But outsiders are convinced that nudist clubs are just fronts for swingers and that their activities consist mainly or ongoing sexual orgies. I have visited nudist clubs enough to know that the truth is somewhere between these two extremes. Has anyone had experiences at nudist clubs which would support the belief that they are swingers?

The answer is absolutely NO. Matter of fact even most swingers clubs don't have orgies as you would expect.
Get your mind out of the gutter...there are kids, grandparents and other family members that attend nudist group events so unless they allow pedophiles, I think you watch too much TV.

As in any other segment of the population, there are a small number of swingers among the nudist population. There are probably many more swingers per capita outside the nudist clubs than inside.
Nudists are less likely than most to engage in swinging behavior because of these stereotypes and the mistaken idea that nudism is a sexual activity. Most nudist clubs are very strict about any overt sexual activity, and will immediately remove anyone behaving improperly.
The Naturist Society and the American Association for Nude Recreation monitor these allegations and take action when detected to assure the mainstream nudist clubs and resorts remain safe for families and children.
There are some resorts advertising themselves mostly as clothing-optional couples resorts which condone or turn a blind eye to this activity, but in most cases, they are not sanctioned by the major nudist organizations or by most nudists in general.
These clubs can usually be detected by their statements they are specifically for couples or adults. Real nudist clubs do not discriminate against families or children.
Swingers do not fit in well in most nudist clubs & resorts because their activity is monitored much more carefully than in a non-nudist environment. Their activities are much easier to accomplish in private parties and clubs designed for their lifestyle.

In my experience (notice I'm not saying "opinion" because this is real experience), not all nudists are swingers anymore then all swingers are nudists. Some people just like to be nude, and that's it. And many swingers don't want to walk around nude.

That's an absurdly narrow-minded way of thinking. Nudists are people who are comfortable naked. It has nothing to do with their sexual orientation.
