with strait cash have them sign the title you sign it then it's a done deal. all you have to do is transfer it and get plates

Most sellers will only accept a cashiers check or cash, the one you use is the one you're most comfortable with, obviously if it's a high amount you're not going to carry the cash around so a check would be the best bet. Always get a receipt signed from the seller.

a CASHIER'S CHECK drawn from your bank. It will leave a paper trail and will ensure nothing shady comes up later..
