You can make walking on a treadmill more fun by watching your favourite shows or watching different scenery like a virtual walk scenes in a nature or in a city.
Sometimes fighting depression, mental-disorder, anxiety and etc. you need to see great videos and hear relaxing musics and do some exercises not dull one. I'm looking around and seen several youtube links from this forum. Wow, they're great.
It is really relaxing and soothing.
So I want to add some several site where you can see relaxing nature wonders videos, I know it is a commercial site but just watching the trailers, it so relaxing.

I used to have a treadmill at home and I watched TV. If you are using a gym try alternating the equipment you use. On an exercise bike you can read a book at the same time, that's a bit tricky on a treadmill though.

I have had this problem...it is soo boring to stay still in one place and just..."walk" there is a new sensation around here that i have recently learned about. its called "spinning" its riding a stationary bike for a certain amount of time, while listening to music...this goes on at local gyms... try looking for "spinning groups" or something similar on the gym bulletin...its always more fun to work out if someone else is doing it with you. also if maybe you are self-concious there is another fun thing to do called DDR (dance dance revolution). This game is great, because it gets you dancing to popular songs, which is just alot more fun than simply walking to them..., and it works up quite a sweat after a small amount of time. if you do not have a game console to play it on, (such as a ps2) there are many spin-off products of the original game that pulg into your TV and what not. just check out your local department store for them. Hope thats helpful!

Everything depends on thinking. Close your eyes, turn your mind inwards, recollect and enjoy those lively moments happened in your life. And be in the company of good people who takes life seriously, be energetic, like if I want to do good to others, I need to be physically fit, so I will do this. First you will feel like you are a day dreamer, but over a period of time, you will become a dream achiever. In simple, master the mind and mind become a master mind :). I threw my treadmill away cause I just could not stand it anymore. Now, when I want to walk, I always walk outdoors. It's healthier for you and you get to take in some nature.

What you can do is get some self help, or self improvement cd's and copy them over to your ipod. Like Tony Robbins. He is who I listen to. Or you can get some books on CD, and transfer them to the ipod, and listen to them.

Watch TV! Get a small portable or a tv/dvd combi. My mum does exactly that.
