Yes :( It's difficult to find numbers of total deaths of children in the Iraq war, but this might be interesting:

Recent information on the consequences of the Iraq war on civilians and children only confirms a devastating picture of the situation. According to an article in the medical magazine The Lancet, there has been an excess of 100,000 civilians deaths since the invasion of Iraq in 2003. The deaths have included a substantial number of children. Carol Bellamy, UNICEF's Executive Director, has called the death of 34 children in recent bomb attacks "an unconscionable slaughter of innocents."

It was estimated that 270,000 children born after the war had none of the required immunizations and routine immunization services were all but disrupted. In addition, the existent stock of vaccines became useless as a result of the destruction of the cold-chain system

There are many things the "pro-life" movement agrees with that are not "pro-life" - wars of aggression and the death penalty come to mind. Pro-life is a buzzword with little basis in reality. Anti-abortion (or anti-choice if you prefer) is more accurate.

Many in the movement use "innocence" as a criteria - innocent fetuses as opposed to guilty criminals (death penalty) or terrorists (war) - forgetting the tenets of their faith that states that "every life is sacred".

In addition to the 100,000 dead Iraqi children caused by this current war of aggression, many more will die from it's effects. A recent UNICEF study revealed that some 4.5 million Iraqi children are malnourished. Birth defects (possibly caused by DU exposure - draw your own conclusions) are rampant (1989 -11 per 100,000 births, ,2001 -116 per 100,000 births, 2005 - 364 per 100,000). Where is the humanity and compassion in this?

That's an interesting spin on two different debates, however, you're trying to have the small picture be the big picture and vice versa. If a war ends a system that isn't helping children then some children would have died whether or not action were taken to stop it, and I think that taking the action to stop such loss is neccesary.

And whats your point? Do 2 wrongs make a right?
I guess you are trying to start a fight with the Right to Life movement. You expect them to have moral perfection. In other words if they are against killing of the unborn then they should be against all killing. You expect them to be consistent in moral issues?

Abortionists on the other hand are not held to the same scrutiny. They can kill a child in the morning and march to save the whales in the afternoon.

You question is not even a proper question. You are asking, but you do not want an answer because of the process with how you 'asked' the question.

You asked and you answered your own futile question.
