No! For the love of all living things, one of my hairs fell out last year and it dropped exactly into the shape of an 8 and my star sign said to beware the number 8 because to me it was a dangerous number..... nothing happened!
Anyway...did you ever consider that perhaps it was a power surge?

No, but it's probably the end of your batteries. Quit buying the generic ones and stick to Energizer or Duracell. :o)
