Shame on you! Which is more important, getting an extra hour of sleep or seeking God's love and forgiveness in your life? Which do you think will make you a better person?

I skipped church for many reasons! That being only one of them, and a small one at that! Although it is a great advantage of being athiest!

Why do you go to church?
If you have not got a hunger for the things of God, then don't bother going, its idolatry.
You do no favour for God or for anyone else by going grudgingly.
If sleep is more important to you than wanting to meet with the Lord in the midst of His people, then you need to look at your reasons for going to church in the first place.
For me, I don't want to put anything in front of attending church. I can't wait to go there. It's this kind of desire, which the Lord is looking for in us.

Satan goes to church too, but with the same intentions he always has. He tries to keep people at home where they will not be fed with the encouraging words of Jesus. Just as all the people before have proudly stated, that they were conquered by Satan and just stayed home.

Spending one hour with God is the least as you can do, and there are different mass times. This is a sin, but I will say this. No one is perfect.
