This usually happens when :
1) under pressure and stressed out.
2) there are hormonal changes
3) ovarian cysts
4) in some cases, weight gain could lead to that too.
The 2nd period is sort of an alarm sometimes.
Sometimes, it may be nothing to worry about... but a visit to the doctor for an ultrasound is probably better just to make sure that everything is OK.

It might be normal for her. Some girls have irregular cycles. Some are like clockwork. Stress can affect her period.

I dont think that, that is normal.
But she could of started and then she just didnt bleed for a day or two and then its started pouring it all out....i dont know.

she needs to contact her doctor, if she's on a birth control, this is called break-through bleeding, it is not normal and she/you need to calm down!
