I might be moving to NY, my husband got offered a job in the middle of Manhattan. Does you know of any good private or public school for 2 elemenatry school children to go to?

NYC has the very best and the absolute worst schools in the country. It all depends on how much money you have. If you have tons of money try Dalton School on the upper East Side. It's where the rich and famous sent their children. Just avoid sending them to schools in the poor neighborhoods. If you really want your children to have a great education find a house in the suburbs, Long Island, Westchester, Bergen County, NJ, or Fairfield County in Connecticut.

Hope your hubby is making a lot. Private grade schools are $20K+/year
