Well. I recently bought a very healthy striightner. It could be that your old straighener was killing your hair, but not all straighteners do that. I bought one of the kinds they use in salons, with 100% ceramic tiles, and my hair looks better than ever after i straighten it. If you really do not want to use your straigthener though, you can always buy straightening shampoos. They work depending on your hair type. plus, since your hair is shorter, it is in most cases natually straigter. just a thought
hope i could help!

The CHI straightener is defiantly superb. It is obtainable in 2 diverse sizes reckoning on the thickness of your hair and it has 3 heats to boot. It additionally warms up very speedy and has the clay on the two area of the paddle, this is extra effectual on your hair.

the problem is the straightener. if it has adjustable heat settings DONT set it to the highest level. using heat protectors also help. there just sprays you spray on your hair to help protect your hair from damage. if you do want to stay away from straighteners, blow drying, shampoos, and heat infused brushes are an alternative way to go.
