So basically, we have to create an animal that will be able to live in 3999. The waters there are polluted, there are 5 continents, and global warming has melted the polar ice caps. Does anyone have any ideas of a cool animal? I need some help, most of it is due tomorrow!

There are water plants that siphon off industrial pollutants (Eg., lead, by say, water hyacinth) and so the animals can be sustained in pollutant waters cleansed by suitable water flora.. The nimal choice depends on where you want to rear it.. There are any number of fishes (for inland pure water, or marine saline condition, for upper layers of water or deep water, for stagnant or flowing water, and so forth), prawns, allegators /crocodiles, turtles /tortoises (based on type of use intended)... and for more local landscape, the buffalos that love wallowing in muddy water..

You have really a wide wide choice, particularly because the future is 100% unknown and any choice could only be highly hypothetical.. It is the way you are going to explain that is going to matter... Go ahead... there you will do it!

Would a bird work? They dont go to the polar ice caps and most dont go to the oceans. Or would a wlaking tree work (not a real animal). They can have rain instead of lake/ ocean/ sea/etc. water. Plus they wont be able to live on the ice caps!

Instead of creating an animal, why not use one that has been around a long time, and perhaps will be around in 3999? I suggest a penguin be that animal -- here's a hyperlink for more info: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penguin). Good luck!
