Love is what you have after you've been through the infatuation and the novelty has worn off and your mate has gained weight or lost their hair and you've discovered their weaknesses and faults and they've annoyed you and you've argued, and you've stopped making love every night, and you know each others dreams and disappointments and likes and dislikes and you know what you'll both do after work tonight and you like the same tv shows and you even enjoy your differences because you KNOW each other and you accept that you're both human and fallible and you take comfort in knowing who you are, who your mate is, where you'll be tomorrow, who you'll wake up next to, with whom you will sit in a rocking chair on the front porch when you're too old for everything else. When you both decide that this is the team, this is the partnership, that you are "us" forever and never even think of doing anything that would harm the team or your mate. That's true love. My old man has a bit of a belly, he's a pack rat, he's got a lazy streak, he's picky. I love him to death. Always will.

I believe true love for sure, its more than a belief, I have witnessed it, I have been part of it.
Look attraction is one thing. You can be in true love with someone and feel attraction to a waitress at a bar.
Love builds up. Sometimes it happens explosively. But when you are in love it is unmistakable. I guess true love just means its forever. Its the real thing. You can trust that person. You know its going to last.
Yeah it exists all over the place for sure.

true love is out there, its a attraction but also alot of other things combined all together, you have an attraction for someone first but if ya have love at first site then ya know its who gonna be w/ for the rest of your life & when ya have the attraction & get to know someone & know its right then its true love, just hope who you fall in love w/ loves you as much as you do them theres the problem, good luck

I will assume that for sake of this response you are referring to a romantic or partnership love. In this case, physical attraction may be part of the initial phase. Love encompasses much more than physical attraction. Love is unconditional acceptance and in most relationships is a work in progress. Love waxes and wanes and changes constantly.

thts a hard question if ya asked wht do u think love is u wud of already finished. true love....i dnt think tht true love exsists i think tht the only reason we say tht we love peopl is because of our nattral instinct to reproduce and keep the speciees going cos wot does love an relationships ultimetly leed to.

Yes, I do believe in TRUE LOVE!!!
I happen to be one that found it and as of yesterday, have been with my man for 24 yrs. and our love has only gotten better, deeper all around.
True Love=the right foundation, integrity, love, God, faithfulness etc..if bound by that, YOU HAVE FOUND IT.
Don't panick, it took me three times, 3rd. time was a charm.
It's out there, believe it and don't settle for less.

Well, that's a toughie. I do believe it is out there. But it is very hard to differentiate love and attraction. It's so hard to know when you have actually found love.
