do you have to go to a mosque to be a good muslim. if yes plz say y and if no plz give reason and examples of the prophets saying tht states whtever your saying. and can you also use the quran asa proof.
when was the first mosque established? why was it considered necssary and can you metion anything about the ummah.

No you do not. It is the same question that can be asked of any person of faith? Does a Catholic have to go to mass on Sunday to keep holy the day of Sabbath. DOes a Jew have to go to temple? Does a Protestant have to go to Church?

The answer to all of this is it depends on what is in your heart.

Salam,

You don't have to but its nice to go every so often. If your a guy, you do have to go to the friday prayers. The reward of the prayer performed in congregation is 27 times tha t of the one performed individually...so why pass that up. I belive the first mosque was masjid Quba.

No, you don't have to go to the mosque in every single prayer, but in the friday prayer, yes. You have to go to the mosque in the friday prayer this is a fard (a must thing).

Going to the Friday prayer is a must, and for the other prayers you should go if the mosque is close enough.
