Some men can be jerks when they are afraid of commitment and don't like attachment, they do everything they can to avoid the situation, but they are missing out. If they are in a relationship that is serious they are not taking it seriously because they don't think it means anything and stop taking account that it means something to the women or who ever the person is that that they are dating. Sometimes they hate that women get serious and crack down and that they don't put up with bogus things. When you have been in a few relationships then you will find out somethings

Sounds like you've had a recent setback in your quest to find Mr. Right. Don't let a few guys ruin you on the whole world full of us. Its just that it takes guys longer to get into the mindset that we want to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. There are animal instincts and bad role models to overcome. Eventually, you'll find the guy you're looking for... the one who really does want a serious relationship... the one who wants to see you , and only you everyday.
In the meantime, take dating and relationships a little less seriously. When you start seeing the right guy, you'll know it. Dating should be fun, not worrisome or angering. Also, keep in mind that the change for most of us guys comes as we get older... and begin to realize that we may have squandered some of our opportunities at lasting happiness for very short-lived fun.
Good luck to you in finding a serious guy while avoiding the jerks; you're going to need it.

I know that you are generalizing here and don't mean "all" men since that would definately be wrong. Not all men are like that. And furthermore , what is the rest of this story? Are you so perfect and flawless? Some things to really think about. If you are not truly happy with a guy you are with then you should know what to do. (Like leave the guy and find a true love) Just friendly advise...........

could be many things... if you want specific answers you might want to add details.
anytime someone treats you badly its because they have low self esteem and are afraid of intimacy. the jerk behavior comes out when they feel threatened or dont know how to act in a loving way.
cant give what you don't have, so if your man came from a home that didnt show him how to respect himself and others, chances are you arent going to get that either.

They don't see what the rush is about. Most men like to take their time for a reason. I think they want to make a conscious decision with out feeling rushed all the time.

becuase women often act really clingy and expect there guy's life to revolve around them. im not saying a guys gf should be ignored but ppl need time for themselves, for their friends etc and it cant be just about the one person.
