There really is no "simple" way. You have to dedicate your time and life to living healthier. If you lose weight and say thats good, then go back to old habits, the weight will come back (plus some).
I say: Eat, drink and be merry (exercise).
Eat healthy, when you are hungry (but never skip a meal, especially breakfast), 5-6 smaller meals are better than 3, and stop eating when you are satisfied.
Drink plenty of water, it suppresses hunger - most people confuse thirst with being hungry, so they eat.
Be merry - exercise is not only good for the body, but good for the brain, it sends all these happy chemicals around. Anyway, to lose weight is simple - burn more calories than you consume (eating healthier foods are usually lower in calories and water will help you feel more full)

ok...well, despite VERY popular belief...diet soda does NOT help you lose weight. If anything, it inhibits weight loss. Diet soda contains aspartame which is an artificial "sugar" that is in no way natural. It is a completely man-made and chemical substance. It affects your body in the worst ways imaginable. Go to this website and read up on the dangers of aspartame, hopefully it will show you the truth about it and you wont be fooled by the false advertising going around.

Now that I got that out of the way, you want an easy way to lose weight? I know something that is a vey easy way to lose weight very quickly and safely. However, the amount lost varies from person to person. Here are just two things you can try:
--take a tablespoon of organic, unpasteurized, unrefined virgin coconut oil before every meal
--take a tablespoon of raw unpasteurized apple cider vinegar before every meal
Just doing these two things, you will see results, trust me, I tried it myself and its absolutely amazing. However, if you want to see major results, it is important to look at what you are eating. Ideally, one should eat only organic foods, because there are no chemical additives in them that can hinder the body's natural processes. But, thats not always possible depending on your location and how much money you have (organic food is usually more expensive) So if you are eating just regular foods from the market, try to eat only fresh fruits and vegetables and things closest to their natural state. You can also try cleanses such as the colon cleanse, full body cleanse, metal cleanse, etc. Usually, people lose a lot of weight on that alone!
Well, hope this was of some help!

I don't think that Stop eating really helps. Because when you start dieting then your digestion will automatically become good and next time you again start taking, you will intake twice diet then previously you use to.
The best way to reduce weight is to exercise in such a manner that you consume all the calories gained by eating. Some tips are as follows
1. Avoid using Lift
2. Morning Walk 1-2 Km
3. Dancing (It really works) way of fasted calorie consumption
4. Gym - 15-30 Min.
5. Drink More Water
(http://www.wikihow.com/Drink-More-Water-Everyday)
Thats all.
Intimate me, if you get benefited by this ;)

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.
It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.
Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!

Drink water increase daily activity such as park farther way in parking lots, take oppurtunity to walk and do things like hand was your own car. Yard work. Find things to do that require getting more physical. No sodas. Less red meat, less fried, foods less bread, no cookies and snack cakes. Eat more fresh fruit as snacks and more veggies whenever possible this would be slower but healty and effective with little change or notice, it will work! Dont skip meals and dont over eat. Eat to you are fluff not stuffed. I eat fruit and cereal in the morning next I eat a lean cuisine for lunch and fruit cup and water. I snack on trail mix or I eat a salad with meat for lunch. For dinner I eat a potatoe with meat or salad or bake fish or boild chicken with veggies and lots of water or crystal light. Im trying to increase my activity too. Good luck.

If you cook at home, dont eat anything that comes out of a box. You have to learn to cook. If you eat out a lot, go for salads and water. Eat fresh or frozen vegestables, eat fresh or frozen fruit eat lean red meat once a week, the other eat fish, and lean chicken.
Eat only when you are hungry, most of the time you are thirsty.
If you want a snack, eat a hand full of nuts, they chase the hungrys away.
Exercise daily, drink water or Diet drinks

Get a calorie counting booklet, and a ledger to keep track of the calories you eat.
Start with 1800 calories a day and each week decrease the amount by 100 calories until you see your weight start to drop.
My magic number is 1000 calories per day to loose weight.

you need to look at it as a life time aproach not just a quick fix!!! a balanced healthy diet avoiding processed foods (most of the food in packaging) when you can and at least 30 min a day of excercise (start off just walking then build up to a walk and some other form of excercise) then you can look forward to a healthy and gorgeous body for the rest of your life not just a few months before you crash on the "fad" diets around! good luck, discipline is the key!
