God's law states "THOU SHALL NOT KILL" it is all inclusive. It does not say it is ok for the state to execute people because those people broke the law. It does not say it is ok when the person is too old or too sick to carry on a normal life. It does not say it is ok if you are a women who does not want to bear a children that her own weakness created. It is all inclusive and stated simply.

It is most unfortunate that for many have to suffer through the "need" for euthanasia before they can accept it as okay in "certain" circumstances. We all jump to the conclusion that everyone will be humanely "put to sleep" if they get a little sick. This is a great fear.
It is also unfortunate that this is just exactly what will eventually happen. If we allow euthanasia when needed, then it will become a horrible problem.
Can it be moral? Absolutely.
Will it become immoral? Absolutely.

You can argue the morality and ethics. You can't argue the social danger of allowing anyone to terminate another person's life without their agreement. The Nazi's sought to terminate the disabled, retarded, mentally ill, diseased, in other words the inconvenient. Sooner or later, for any number of reasons, we will all of us become inconvenient to someone. It just can't be allowed for everyone's safety.

yes. If somebody is in such pain they want to die with no hope for improvement in sight, who are you to tell them to just bite down and live on?
