I'm getting really sick of the kindergarten playground handling of a very serious war. First we had Geraldo drawing a map in the sand showing the world where his group was going to make a left turn and cut over - barf - why didn't someone shoot him? He was with the troops, he was a potential target and telling Saddams troops when and where he was coming. Journalists don't have brains enough to analize what they see. They only see the scoop, the story, the I'm first and I get a by line and a bonus for this. Yesterday Yahoo News 3/10/07 a General is interviewed by a journalist from AP he gives details of troop movements that are coming up at specific locations in actual combat zones where people have been killed. The stupid reporters ask the stupid question and they get the damn answer - CLICK - it's on the internet. It is time for me to run this thing. I'll tell the news agencies where to park their camels.

Yes, the embedded press has not been the positive that was hoped for. They still only report negative and anything that will get our troops killed. I have not seen the story, but the general either gave false information to throw the enemy off, or should be relieved of duty immediately.

I'm sure military consultants that work for the Media are getting fed information that is selective and approved. No one that's stupid. Proof in point...have we lost a battle? No and we had relatively minimal loss of life on our side. I think the Generals know what they are doing.

Are you telling me that Hussein had the slightest chance against coalition forces? If the generals were hanging around for TV coverage then they obviously weren't that worried. We could stop reporting there altogether and wait for the military to tell us what's happening, much better idea.

Sometimes telling your enemy that you are coming, and IN Force - Big Force, makes them leave first.

So it can save lives too.
