You can play at http://betzip.nicefacepoker.com/ . They have free games with no money involved. And currently you can play for 2 weeks on there real money site for free and win cash. They have a new concept where you pay a monthly fee to play which lets them be legal in the US. Its worth playing for 2 weeks free since there is $2,500 up for grabs every day.

Good luck

The face of online poker is changing. Corporate sponsors are getting involved and giving away money to sponsor free online poker tournaments. This is the future of online poker in places like the US where the cash games are becoming of questionable legality.

Now, you COULD go to any major online poker site and play in the play-money games, for free, and have some fun.

But why do that when you can play for free, have some fun, AND maybe win some money to boot? Here is a link to the first major site capitalizing on this new trend:

Poker is one of those games that when you play it "just for fun" it isn't fun! Without anything to lose why wouldn't you bluff every time?
Sure we can pretend that we are playing for money and act accordingly but in the back of our mind we KNOW there's nothing to loose.
When I play poker with friends we at least bet one dollar each to buy chips for the whole night and the winner takes it all at the end.
Online the feeling is the same, I played for free at Yahoo and got bored soon. Poker rooms like http://www.poker-room.net allow you to play for free also but when you get the hang of it you can move up to play with a little money.

Freeroll tournaments are very simple to explain: you play for free with no cost required to join the table and the online poker room still offers real money prizes to the winner(s).

Most of the popular online poker rooms have regular freeroll poker tournaments, including Party Poker and William Hill Poker.

Playing in freeroll games in an excellent way to get used to playing poker online before deciding to risk real money. Think of it as a 'try before you buy' offer.

If you are new to the online poker scene then you are recommended to check out our Online Poker: A Beginners' Guide. It'll get you started on the most basic rules and put you in a position to sit down and get started on your first UK online poker freeroll tournaments.

I'll list below the best poker rooms where you can enter online freeroll tournaments.

Party Poker is the most popular of all online poker rooms. They launched back in 2001 and rapidly became a market leader. The place is always busy with loads of tables available and players to take on. Simply grab a seat at the table you like the look of and you're in. Utterly safe and loads of fun, Party Poker is a great choice both for poker experts and newcomers. They have easy deposit options and process very fast cash outs. In the event of any queries or problems, they have at hand a five star customer care team to assist you, 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Poker Stars is the best one i've found so far. It doesn't come with all the ads and stuff. not complicated and didnt load any spyware harmful to computer. I've found that there's alot more serious players there too. Site is not tolerant of bad language etc. Good moderators there too.
If all you want to do is enjoy a good game of Poker and nice chat this is the site for you.
Good luck and have fun! :)

http://www.pokersourceonline.com/freepoker/money.asp?rc=metsnfins

This will put 50 dollars in an absolute poker account for you (Or a partypoker account if you live outside the US) ....
If you win, you get more money and can cashout. If you lose, you owe nothing

no credit card required ... no deposit required
