what means to you in your life?.what do you hold onto for hope and does it ansew the big question what is the meaning of life?. does it go back to the individual .why do we ask it as a general question.?

Three words supply what life means to me.
Purpose.
Meaning.
Fulfillment.
I have found all three in my service to the Lord Jesus Christ.

I've come to realise that even if we live in an extremely goal-oriented society asking for a meaning of life is simply not a valid question. Nature does not work that way.
Therefore, you are free to assign any meaning to life you like, as long as you remember that you share this planet with a lot of other lifeforms and thus you have a responsibility to them. Try not to hurt them, or better yet, do something for them. This responsibility stretches out into the future for lifeforms yet to come.

Our lifes are but a single breath. We flower and we fade.
We must use our lifes to build the city of God and show our faith. And all through life we are tested by God. And are tempted by satan. Like they say in Star Wars. Satan's path is the easy path, quicker and more seductive. But if we are patient with God he will help us.
Jesus was tempted by satan for power. He didn't take it and didn't lose anything as a result. He gained the power over all the nations even though it took more time.
