hey! Something cannot come out of nothing. There must be a Source of our intelligence from which we got our intelligence.

are you smarter than your parents? grand parents? .... great great X great grandparents.
think on it

groups are more intelligent. If I start a group, the group as a whole is smarter than an individual.
Computers calculate way faster than creator, cars move faster than a creator, planes fly higher than creator. Therefore it's possible Intelligence could be the same way. Give dumb old natural forces enough time, it might have done it. Maybe the creator is very slow and not very smart, but has millions of years to play around with life.

There may be no scientific way to prove who's more intelligent; and by the looks of things, Man is indeed very intelligent. But his intelligence has also caused a lot of distress and destruction too, and of course God is keeping watch. In today's world, we pay for our mistakes before our time is up. So, i guess ultimately God is more intelligent. At least smarter, if not intelligent; 'cus like I wrote earlier, there's no way to prove it.
But I would like to add, that in my opinion, God is the most intelligent 'cus he knows how to settle scores for Man with men. All sorts of scores, be it vengeance or justice. :-)

It doesn't take any intelligence to 'create' - just look around at some of the parents these days !

A really smart Creator could (and likely would) create something with the potential to become smarter than itself.
-----------------------
You are right that something cannot come from nothing, but it can come from something unknown.
The only things that can come from nothing and be as nothingness are gods. And, gods quit being invented as education spread throughout the human race.
The Christian god was invented by quasi-historic tribes of illiterate semi-nomadic goat herders who actually had to appeal to the god for a judgment on whether it was right or wrong for them to have sex with animals.
Excuse me if I do not take their belief system seriously.

Without any evidence to back it up, people often say that whatever is created cannot surpass it's creator. We cannot accept this as true without proof.
I would have to say that it is possible that the creations can be more intelligent than their creator and leave it at that.

The real question is, who created who? Maybe there is some intellegence in the greater universe. Maybe the Universe is conscious and know each of it's living beings individually. Then she is more intellegent, but maybe there is no higher intellegence just a blind creator, evolution. I mean there are allot of problems in the world.
