No Islam is not a danger to the West. I'd have to say America is a danger to the Middle East and the rest of the Arab world though. There's no reason for America to try to force democracy on everyone else.

No, on the contrary, Islam and the West are compatible. It is enriching for any civilisation to have friendly contacts with others and learn from each other.

The West is a danger to Islam since it's the faith of most of those on top of those oilfields we so want to control for our own selfish needs.

well.....islam isn't danger in it self ..but the danger in those who believe more than needed....and convert thier believes in dangerous way....every religion has its extrems ...and some muslims took it alittle bit so far

No. Islam and Western values are perfectly compatible. It's only the fundamental literalist approach which is incompatible with liberal democracy, and I wouldn't call it a 'danger' per se. There are plenty of moderates only too willing to co-operate with the West.
Read some Tariq Ramadam if you don't believe me.
