For May 1st Marches, I think ICE should be blockading the roads, checking green cards and hauling illegals off. It's time to take our country back from lawless invaders. They have already succeeded in taking over most of the country -- this was/is and always will be their goal.
Our government is too stupid to understand that with the lack of immigration law enforcement, the government has permitted an illegal takeover of the USA. Worse, as a result of 9/11/01, the country has subdued law-abiding citizens and promoted the illegal takeover by giving all these sanctuaries to illegal aliens. All the Sanctuary Cities have effectively split from the USA and are embracing the Spanish Language and Illegal Immigrants and Lawlessness -- Chicago Illinois is one of the worst. Little Village in Chicago is the Mexico City of the Midwest.
Miami Florida is mostly all Hispanic and very few speak English. Already split via population -- just a matter of time before it goes away from the USA. Also, Florida voted to secede from the USA.
The Immigrants rights Marches are not for Immigrants Rights but are a show of strength to Mexico and the Hispanics that they have already taken over the towns and the government will do absolutely nothing to stop them.

I believe that our country will last till the end of the century, but am less sure of its form at that time. The Civil War (1861-1865) established that no state has the right to succeed from the United States. So, rather than part of this country becoming a part of Mexico, it is more likely that Mexico will become a state or several states in the U.S. However, I hope that before that happens, the silent majority of American will rise up and force their government to enforce the immigration laws. We are already seeing cities take action because the Federal and State governments have not.
The suit filed by the representative of the illegal immigrants against the town in Pennsylvania goes to court this week. If the courts rule for cities that establish ordinances that are in concert with existing Federal laws, you can expect many more locals laws denying work and housing to illegal immigrants. If the court system rules that cities can not establish local ordinances supporting the federal laws, we must either elect only candidates who support strong immigarationn laws or expect to go the way of the Native Americans,

It won't since the North American Union is coming into play to connect Mexico and Canada with the US. Haven't any of you mid-westerners noticed the huge 10lane Superhighway rolling on through? In Texas they're fighting the Trans Texas Corridor right now. Why worry about closed borders when in 3yrs we're all going to be one big happy disfunctional family.

Where did you ever come up with this fool idea. What happened with all the blacks did they get independence and form their on country, how about your native americans, did they pool together to form their own nation. You've been having problems with illegals now for how long like ever since the American Independence, lets not be absurd I can see the US actually expanding in the future not shrinking.

I agree, people need to wake up to what is going on. The NAU is going through while Americans will be getting the blow against what it does to the American middle and lower classes. We will be lucky if there is still an USA along with an intact Constitution and Bill of Rights.

I am thinking a war will occur between 2009-2011, if a Dem wins the White House, and the NAU has come to pass.

the start of our split will come after 2016. with the elections of Mexicans to congress and elections of 2 senators from ca.,NM,AZ co.TX and least one from the the liberal states WA. and or. they will have 10 + senators. as a caucus.
they can stop any passage of any bills.
unless ,they put in what they want. there will only be so much money to spend . who will get short ended? the black communities because
they will have lost leverage. republicans won't be able
do anything. the Dem's will be in power.

They said the same thing about the NY Metro area when all the millions of Irish immigrants started coming to the US thru Ellis Island. But they eventually spread out across the US & inter married with other Americans and it all worked out fine.

Spanish speaking people from central and south America, who emigrate to the US do so in order not to be part of Mexico.
at best they'll want the US to give them more rights, maybe the governorship of California, right after that Austrian gets out of office, it'll be time for a Mexican movie star to be governor of California.
