Christening of a baby is a time when the PARENTS are asked questions. Do they believe in God. Will they raise this child in a Godly home and so on.
Baptism is when that baby has grown to the age of accountability, usually 12, and has accepted Jesus Christ.

Baptism is not christening. Baptism is for somebody that believes in Jesus and gets baptized as a symbol of burying the old man with his sins, then rising to follow Jesus.
Christening is just giving somebody or something a name. I never made a ceremony out of it.

Baptism is a ceremony a person goes through "after" salvation. "Christening" is a term some use for infant baptism. This issue split the church somewhere around 250 A.D. The church did not recover until around 1550.
