Wouldn't you want information a little bit more recent and relevant than that? The Bible does not have a good track record with science.

I am having a lot of trouble finding anything that has to do with sleep other then the famous verses from Proverbs.
Pro 6:9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
Pro 6:10 [Yet] a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
Pro 6:11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

I believe that it was Napoleon, the French 19th century emperor and general who said this.
Nothing to do with the Holy Bible.

What kind of question is this? Sleep? The Bible talks a lot about sleeping. Those old folks were sleeping with everybody and some of them were family. Today that's illegal.

I've not found anything like that in scripture.
In the book of Proverbs it talks of sleep but not about hours of sleep.

If it were really all that important God would have been sure to include it. My sleep habits would make interesting scientific study, lol. I find prayer much more refreshing.

wtf?......shouldn't matter how long you sleep...as long as your sleep isn't inter fearing with outside speculations such as missing work, not paying bills on time, feeding pets and such.
