I'm sorry but these verses from the Qu'ran contradicts your statement:

[4:90] ........ Therefore, if they leave you alone, refrain from fighting you, and offer you peace, then GOD gives you no excuse to fight them.

[8:61] If they resort to peace, so shall you, and put your trust in GOD. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient.

[60:8] GOD does not enjoin you from befriending those who do not fight you because of religion, and do not evict you from your homes. You may befriend them and be equitable towards them. GOD loves the equitable.

[22:39] Permission is granted to those who are being persecuted, since injustice has befallen them, and GOD is certainly able to support them.[ 22:40] They were evicted from their homes unjustly, for no reason other than saying, "Our Lord is GOD." If it were not for GOD's supporting of some people against others, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and masjids - where the name of GOD is commemorated frequently - would have been destroyed. Absolutely, GOD supports those who support Him. GOD is Powerful, Almighty.

[2:190] You may fight in the cause of GOD against those who attack you, but do not aggress. GOD does not love the aggressors.

[Quran 7:28] They commit a gross sin, then say, "We found our parents doing this, and GOD has commanded us to do it." Say, "GOD never advocates sin. Are you saying about GOD what you do not know?"

[Quran: 7:199] ......You shall resort to pardon, advocate tolerance, and disregard the ignorant.

[Quran 6:151] "...... You shall not kill - GOD has made life sacred - except in the course of justice. These are His commandments to you, that you may understand."

[Quran17:33] "You shall not kill any person - for GOD has made life sacred - except in the course of justice. ....."

The very word Islam is derived from the Arabic word "salaam" which means peace. Having said that, it is unfortunate that some idiots who know nothing at all about their own religion have been brainwashed into thinking that they are doing God's will by perpetuating horrible acts of violence against innocent people. The real shame is that the media shows those terrorists as synonymous with Islam while in reality they have nothing whatsoever to do with Islam, or with any religion for that matter. I believe that it is up to Muslims, real Muslims that is, to do their part in clarifying this instead of just feeling upset about the way they are portrayed in the media and doing nothing about it. An important thing to point out is that every religion has extremists and fundamentalists who are not true representatives of that religion. It is the moderate and reasonable voices that are often drowned out by the loud violence, so they just need to be heard. As a matter of fact, examples of Muslims who have achieved great success and even won the Nobel prize include Dr. Ahmad Zuweil, and more recently Mohamed Yunis who is a great example of kindness and humanity.

Islam is not synonymous with terrorism. How can a religion preach terrorism? Islam preaches humanity, love and brotherhood.

Its the dirty politics going on between nations that is causing terrorism.

Absolutely not. I believe in Peace. I frequently talk to Muslims to promote mutual respect and greater understanding between Christianity and Islam. I have found the Islamic people to be friendly, respectful and intelligent. There are over 1.5 billion Muslims in the world. If they were really all terrorists we would all be dead.

In the U.S. and the minds of most of it's people, yes. You can thank all the constant news coverage with the word "terrorism" in it for that. I swear, they mention that word at least 10 times a day.

Yes. Islam people have been at war since the beginning of time. It is the only way they know and teach their children to be the same. Kill them all and let God sort them out. Or, maybe just pray for them.
