I'm not sure what you mean.
Anointing of the sick is pouring oil over them to represent the spirit of GOD healing them. It is something for us to focus on while we pray. The same with the laying on of hands. It keeps our spirit correctly focused on what is going on.

Oil is symbolic of the Holy Spirit; the Bible says to anoint with oil and pray over the sick.

All religions practice their own rituals. Spiritual healing (the power of prayer combined with touch) is merely passes over the body to address what is out of sorts.

If you are thinking that by the mere application of oil and chanting the right words will heal the sick, you need to go back and look at how Jesus did it ... He just said "your faith has healed you".

Mark 16 verse 18 states, They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.
