I'm a regular traveler, and I find that the less I carry with me the happier I am!

Got a good palm pilot/pocket PC? must have. Cell phone? Sure! Book and spiral notebook with pen, that's a must for me. And some cash, too (or credit card, which I find I prefer when traveling).

I find that my most productive time is on an airplane with a good seat, so I take my laptop and I work. However, for a 15 hour trip, I don't know too many batteries that last that long. An iPod or MP3 player (my Palm TX doubles as a palmtop and music player) is essential.

Here's a good one for those extra long flights: deck of cards! strike up a game with your fellow passengers!

15 hours is a long time to be in one space, so don't be afraid to up and walk around some--you'll need to. Also, take advantage of the headsets they provide--listen to a channel and be sure to watch the movie.

Most important thing to bring--a good attitude!

Well, I just had a 18 hour flight and layover to get to Egypt. I would suggest bringing

1. books/magazines
2. ipod
3. snacks/water
4. wear comfy clothes
5. maybe a sleeping pill so you can get some sleep on the plane
6 a blanket of your own (I hate airplane blankets they are just sooo dirty!)
7. an inflatable U pillow or the nap pillow from Brookstones.
8. A sense of humor (traveling for this long is exhausting)

Have a geat trip!

How rich are you ? Lots of $$ ? Hang out in the lounges . . . or if you are a regular person , take some Cliff bars for eating.
Take a book you have been meaning to catch up on.
Also, are you going straight to some meeting or social event ? Take some baby wipes with colonge in a zip log bag to freshen up - unless you will be going directly to your hotel or family place where you can shower.

Something to read, or music to listen to on your Ipod.
Maybe a snack, candy bar, etc.
Something to pass the time during the flight.
