Lunchtime got it right, if he figured out the meaning of "B". Did you mean "bits" or "bytes" or (worst of all) "baud". Changes everything. But the part of synchronizing bits and package format bits is very true and will add a lot of baggage to the simple math answer.

byte = 8 bits

Kilobyte = 1042 bytes

so.....8*16*1024

131072
